Chaos to Calm: One Storm at a Time

About Me (Sami) and how i help Mums like me

About Me

I still remember the night I sat on the kitchen floor, holding my phone, wondering what to do next.
My daughter was in crisis, and I felt helpless, terrified, and completely out of my depth.

No one prepares you for moments like these, the chaos, the fear, the endless “what ifs” running through your mind. I thought I was failing her. I thought I was failing as a mum.

If you’re here, I’m guessing you know that feeling too.

For a long time, I felt completely alone. I searched for answers, but the support just wasn’t there. The NHS was stretched, friends didn’t really understand, and every day felt like I was firefighting without a plan. Sleepless nights blurred into one, the guilt was relentless, and the constant anxiety about my daughter’s safety, her future, and whether I was “doing enough” was overwhelming.

I know that exhaustion because I’ve lived it.

Somewhere along the way, I realised something important:
I couldn’t control the storm, but I could learn how to anchor myself and my daughter through it.

That realisation changed everything.

I began reading, learning, and searching for ways to make sense of the chaos. I trained as an NLP Practitioner and completed my Level 2 and Level 3 Mental Health Awareness qualification, not because I wanted to be an expert, but because I was desperate to understand. I wanted to know how to support my daughter while also remembering how to breathe myself.

And slowly, I started to find pockets of calm.
Not because the chaos disappeared, it didn’t but because I learned how to navigate it differently. I stopped feeling quite so alone.

That’s why I started Chaos to Calm.
Not as a business, but as a safe space, somewhere other mums could come and breathe, knowing someone truly gets it.

Here, we don’t pretend everything’s fine when it isn’t. We don’t sugarcoat the hard days or judge the messy ones. We talk openly about the highs, the lows, and everything in between.

Because loving someone who feels everything so deeply can be beautiful and brutal all at once. It’s a journey no one prepares you for, but one you shouldn’t have to walk alone.

I can’t promise to have all the answers, I’m still learning too, but I can promise this:
You’ve found a place where you are understood.

I’ve walked through the storm.
I’ve felt the fear, the heartbreak, and the hope.
And now, I’m here, alongside you, while you find your own calm when everything around you feels anything but.

Welcome to Chaos to Calm.
You’ve found your safe space.

Your Calm in the Chaos,

Sami xx
